The International Association for Dental Research (IADR), headquartered in Alexandria, Va., is a non-profit organization with over 10,000 members worldwide. The IADR mission is to drive dental, oral and craniofacial research for health and well-being worldwide.

Starting in 2015, IADR Member and Retired Member dues include membership in one IADR Scientific Group/Network. IADR student members must join at least one Group/Network, and may join up to a total of three Groups/Networks at no charge. IADR Affiliate Members are not eligible to join Groups/Networks. Please click here for Group/Network descriptions.
IADR Retired membership is available to individuals who have 25 years of consecutive membership in the Association and are no longer working full time for remuneration. Some IADR Divisions, Sections and Regions may also charge dues, please refer to the membership application (coming soon) for more information.

You may join online, or if you prefer to pay by check, print the form located at www.iadr.org/membership and send it with payment via fax or mail. Upon receipt and processing of your application, the IADR will send an email receipt and welcome message. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing and delivery.

IADR membership follows a calendar year period. All memberships expire on December 31 of the current calendar year.

The Journal of Dental Research (JDR) is the flagship journal of the IADR and the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR), the largest Division of the IADR. JDR Clinical & Translational Research - a new journal designed for IADR members and other oral health research leaders to publish their research and effectively translate their findings to those who need the information to deliver evidence-based prevention and care. IADR members receive online access with membership. Print copies of the journal may be purchased in addition to online access by selecting during the membership renewal process or contacting the IADR.

- Refunds due to an error by the IADR/AADOCR will be processed immediately and in full.
- A $20 USD processing fee will be withheld from all other refunds.
- Overpayment of $30 USD or less will be treated as a contribution and will not be refunded.
- Refunds will normally be sent in the same manner as the original payment (i.e., checks will be issued for payments by check, and credit cards will be credited for payments by credit card). If a wire transfer is requested, IADR/AADOCR will pass on all wire transfer fees to the recipient.
- Please allow 6-8 weeks for your refund to be processed.
- IADR does not offer refunds for canceled memberships, according to the IADR Constitution & Bylaws.

Members will see the ID number by logging in to the IADR/AADOCR Member Portal. Members may also download and print member ID cards to get ID number information. If you have lost your ID number, please contact the IADR to receive your number.

Please go to https://my.iadr.org and click on the link marked "Forgot your password?" to request your password. Your user name or email is required for your request to be processed. If your account information cannot be located, you will need to activate your account.
